Chartered Accountants Worldwide Network USA launches
Worldwide Network USA to provide support and connect over 7,000 chartered accountants who are living and working in the USA.
This is the first regional network to be established by CAW and builds on more than 40 years of support by ACAUS to Chartered Accountants residing in the USA. CAW brings together over 1.8m members and students from 15 Chartered Accountancy institutes from around the world to support, develop and promote the vital role that chartered accountants play throughout the global economy.
Collaboration between these two chartered accountancy organisations will enable them to work together to provide enhanced support to their members and raise the profile of the chartered accountancy brand in this important market. One of the key areas of interest is to expand and strengthen relationships between CAW, business leaders and the profession in the USA to facilitate interaction with members as well as the cross-flow of information and ideas.
Michael Izza, Chairman of Chartered Accountants Worldwide, said: “I am delighted that ACAUS is joining forces with Chartered Accountants Worldwide to create CAW Network USA. It provides the opportunity to connect and support all our 7,000 collective members who live and work in the United States. Together we can demonstrate the value of the chartered accountancy profession – especially in these unprecedented times – where the world needs trusted business leaders to help rebuild business and the wider economy. This collaboration is an important step forward for the chartered accountancy profession in a major financial market.”
David Freeman, ACAUS Director, said: “Joining the CAW family, enables us to provide a network that meets the needs of the 7,000 collective members in the USA, with greater access to knowledge sharing, events and member services. At the same time, it enables us to increase the prominence and influence of chartered accountants in the USA, enhancing global brand recognition.”
