Alluring cover for December's Destiny
Also known from TV, the cover features Gerry Elsdon, Michelle Botes and Connie Ferguson on the front and opens to reveal Nonhle Thema, Lerato Hlatshwayo and Rosette Mogomotsi. These women now represent some of the biggest beauty houses in the world, including L'Oreal, (Botes, Ferguson and Thema), Avon (Elsdon), Elizabeth Arden (Hlatshwayo) and Ponds (Mogomotsi).
“For years multinationals have been eyeing Africa, and the international beauty market is no different. In the last couple of years, we have seen increasing numbers of beautiful South African women being selected as spokespeople for these high-profile brands as they expand further into Africa. We're incredibly proud of these women's phenomenal success and celebrate this in our cover feature,” explains the magazine's editor, Khanyi Dhlomo.
“They're all truly inspiring and such excellent role models for all of us. It was incredible to have all that talent in the same room for the photo shoot, and the result is this stunning cover which illustrates exactly what those international brands find so alluring about these women,” Dhlomo concludes.
