In the case of the Winemaker of the Year competition, participants have to submit Sauvignon Blanc wines for judging and must guarantee that a minimum of 150 cases of 12 x 750ml bottles - or the equivalent volume - is available. The young winemakers compete with unfortified dry red wines whether blends or cultivar wines with a minimum requirement of 25 cases of 12 x 750ml bottles.
