Bobby Jones, a premium golf brand, and J.Lindeberg, the 21st Century lifestyle brand for the modern consumer, are now available in South Africa. The store has opened in Montecasino, Johannesburg, and introduces a new concept in golf retail by allowing the public access to a complete golf lifestyle selection direct from the manufacturer - from fairways to runways.

After taking the international golfing world by storm the two brands are confident that they will not only bring style back into golf but also into every day life both on and off the course.

Created by craftsmen using the finest materials, Bobby Jones products are commissioned to provide enduring pleasure and bear the hallmark of meticulous attention to detail. Products under the brand set the standard for luxury within a country club lifestyle and recent brand extensions have included golf equipment, timepieces, belts, leather goods and apparel.

The Bobby Jones clubs were designed by the famous designer Jesse Ortiz to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the golfing legend's Grand Slam. Since their introduction they have been used by 30 tour professionals and have won numerous accolades including: best fairway wood as voted by US PGA, best Hybrid by US Golf Digest and US Golf Magazine, as well as pros choice by US Golf Punk Magazine.

While the Bobby Jones line has a timeless appeal, the J.Lindeberg range bridges fashion, casual wear and sport through modern attitude and inspirational design resulting in an innovative and progressive golf collection for the younger generation.

The sports apparel was created from Lindeberg's ambition to inspire one of the most conservative cultures in the world. With this in mind, he connected his love of fashion to that of sports by creating a style leader in golf wear. This is apparent in the new line which comprises a wide range of tailored golf shirts, jerseys, windbreakers, trousers and even golf shoes and gloves. The colours range from traditional navies and whites to more daring pastels, greens and khakis - not excluding of course the popular pin stripe trousers which are completed by his signature line of belts in white, brown and black.

The Modern Movement that J.Lindeberg has created with support and following from Hollywood, top musicians and athletes, is one of inspiration and individuality. PGA golf professionals Camilo Villegas and Jesper Parnevik have become ambassadors of the JL collection internationally.
