The "Judge Dread" of Idols has got up a certain organisation's nose for saying the people of Polokwane, that pulsating metropolis of the north, may be charming but they are sadly lacking... well, totally lacking, actually... when it comes to talent. The ANCYL in turn has called for Cliff to be canned (they'd probably like to see him caned as well, for good measure) for what they say is "defocusing" the province's youth. ANCYL provincial secretary Jacob Lebogo is quoted as saying: "The future of young aspiring artists lies in the lazy hands of a madman." Hmmm... There are perhaps many people who reckon there's another bunch of youngsters whose future lies in the "lazy hands of a madman".
