Sporting a predominantly dark background to reduce viewer fatigue and make images stand out better, the new site is more intuitive in the way it has categorised images. The site also offers an updated and simplified interface, search functionality, lightbox and checkout processes.
New features include “floating” search filters, which enable users to refine searches while browsing results, and a “related images” function - so that clients can quickly find similar images, from the 50,000 sets of related images, using the same models or same theme. The site also offers instant image previews when hovering over thumbnail images, accompanied by a display of expanded information.
Five newly-added Rights Managed collections makes for more intuitive searches, by grouping together images by clearly defined stylistic, aesthetic and thematic criteria:
