Moeller-Maersk raises €2.6bn from asset sales

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK - Danish shipping and oil group A.P. Moeller-Maersk said it will sell its supermarket business for a profit of €1.9bn, the second deal in two days that will raise €2.6bn for the company.

Maersk profits, sales fall 33%

COPENHAGEN, DENMARK: Danish conglomerate A.P. Moeller-Maersk reported a drop in net profit and sales in the first quarter of 33% and blamed its performance on the sluggish economies in North America and Europe.
