Job description

Key responsibilities:

• Achieving monthly targets
• Identifying and securing various business opportunities
• Managing the administrative aspects of the booking process
• Overseeing campaigns on the advertising system
• Handling administrative tasks related to bookings, such as invoicing
• Developing long-term relationships and managing key accounts

A valid driver’s license and own transport are required. The successful candidate must be willing to travel and be away from home occasionally.

The successful candidate may be bilingual, but able to speak and write Afrikaans fluently.

Requirements

This is a permanent position based at Maroela Media’s offices on the Voortrekker Monument grounds in Centurion. The ideal candidate should have a relevant tertiary qualification in marketing or sales. Knowledge of and experience in the South African advertising industry and media will be an advantage. Experience in selling and managing advertisements on a digital platform is a requirement! The successful candidate will be responsible for selling advertisements, promotions, social media, and other business opportunities on Maroela Media’s website. They will also be expected to build strong relationships with advertisers and potential advertisers through effective communication and excellent client service. The candidate must be able to work well under pressure and function effectively as part of a team.
