Top label and packaging manufacturing company is looking for a suitable DTP operator to join the team. This will be a straight-forward DTP role, requiring the suitable candidate to get work print-ready.
Duties:
- Setting up of artwork and proofing the work before production
- Dealing with the clients and the production team
- Editing and retouching
- Step and repeat approved jobs for printing
- Comparing specs to cutting dies
- Getting all work ready for the press and sending it off for production
- Colour matching and proofing
- Approving digital jobs
- Printing QC forms for jobs
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Min 3-5 years digital DTP experience from within the print manufacturing (or similar) industry
- Own transport
- Illustrator and Photoshop
