An established management firm with a firm foothold in the online media and marketing sphere offering their clients a sophisticated solution that effectively addresses all their needs are in the market for a BI and SQL specialist who will be responsible primarily for reports and database development

Responsibilities:

• SQL server 2012 and above relational database development
• Stored procedures, Functions, triggers
• SSIS and SQL queries
• SSAS Development and maintenance
• Developing SSRS reports
• Writing more complex queries for specialised requirements on current and new projects
• Develop operational reporting systems
• Develop systems to support operations
• Ensure that data sources cater for demands of ad hoc extracts
• Operations and maintenance of standard, routine queries
• Operate, maintain, enhance and optimise queries and systems
• Ensure correct preparation of data for all operations
• Additional tasks related to data extracts, automated operations and SQL queries as required

Qualifications and experience:

• BSc comp science, industry qualifications or equivalent experience
• A minimum of four years relevant experience
• Business Intelligence experience including design and maintenance of dimensional data warehouses
• Must have SQL server 2012 and relational database development, Stored procedures, Functions, triggers, SSIS, SSAS and SQL query experience, MySQL, MongoDB and Power BI
• SQL Database design and architecture
• Dimensional and relational design concepts
• Writing T-SQL Scripts
• Stored Procedures
• Knowledge of OLAP cubes

The Reference Number for this position is NG58286 which is a Permanent Hybrid position based in Johannesburg offering a cost to company from R600,000 to R800,000 per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
