The VUKA Group’s MRA portfolio, a leading voice in the mining industry, is dedicated to delivering high-quality, engaging content that informs and inspires our audience. We’re looking for an experience and dynamic Journalist to join our team and help us continue driving innovation and excellence in industry storytelling.

Key responsibilities:

• Compile articles for the brand’s print and digital platforms.
• Engage with industry stakeholders for content creation.
• Conduct research and compile deep-dive content for the brand’s resource library.
• Report on industry events including conferences, exhibitions and press events.
• Conduct video interviews – on-site and online.

Knowledge:

• Familiarity with the mining sector and its trends is a plus.

Communication:

• Strong interview and interpersonal skills, with an ability to craft stories that resonate with diverse audiences.

Languages:

• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a bonus.

Requirements

• At least five years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a B2B environment.
• A professional outlook with excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of web content management systems such as WordPress is preferred
• A willingness to constantly learn new things on the job
• Good interviewing skills
• Good research skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to think outside the box
