A law firm in Johannesburg North is on the lookout for a financial manager to oversee the financial aspects of the company.
The candidate will report to the director.
Qualifications and abilities:
- BCom in accounting or related finance qualification
- Relevant Financial Management experience
- Computer experience in legal / accounting software
- SAP working experience
- Strong Communication skills
- Handle pressure
- Positive attitude, team player, self-starter
- Management accounts
- Preparation and management of budgets
- Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts (preparation/reviews) on a monthly and annual basis
- Review payments and reconciliations (suppliers, debtors, cashbook, inter-company)
- Forex (limited)
- Manage and forecast cash flow
- Preparation and submission of VAT, EMP and tax returns
- Fixed asset register maintenance
- Annual audit preparations, schedules, queries
- Ability to lead and manage a team
