The successful candidate will join the technical team and oversee the management and coordination of factory cleaning activities, both night and day, conducted by internal staff and external service providers.

Responsibilities:

Key areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to:

• Managing and controlling clean-as-you-go, valet, day, and night cleaning for the entire factory and premises.
• Conducting pre-ops inspections after night cleaning.
• Coordinating and conducting housekeeping (internal auditing) of all factory areas.
• Completing all relevant quality-related documentation for checks conducted.
• Adhering to occupational health and safety, hygiene, and FSMS standards.
• Ensuring the upkeep of hygiene and cleaning standards, working closely with the QA manager.
• Maintaining hygiene and cleaning systems, implementing procedures, and ensuring continuous improvement.
• Adhering to GMPs, PRPs, audits, and inspections.
• Providing technical support to day and night cleaning teams.
• Managing and ensuring adherence to set hygiene and cleaning standards at the factory.
• Performing minor dismantling and assembling of low-risk equipment.

Requirements and experience:

• Minimum three years of FMCG experience in a related field.
• Tertiary qualification/training certificates in food safety and quality management (HACCP/ISO 22000).
• Meat examiner and/or inspector qualification will be beneficial.
• Strong background in food safety, chemical handling, and auditing.
• Experience in occupational health and safety, with relevant training certificates.
• Proficiency in Excel and advanced computer skills.
• Willingness to work shifts in rotation, including night hours, overtime, and public holidays as required.
• Experience with the requirements of a chicken abattoir (including meat safety act).
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
• Self-starter, motivated, and able to work independently.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
