Core Function

As a Warranty Assessor, your primary role will involve determining the extent of motor vehicle mechanical damages, calculating repair costs, identifying the cause of damage, and applying policy limits based on your expertise and knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Review photographs, quotations, and related documentation for damaged vehicles.

• Correlate damages to insured events and exclude unrelated costs.

• Assess warranty status and probable roadworthiness at the time of the event.

• Apply policy limits to mechanical failures and provide detailed assessor reports.

 What you’ll need

Qualifications and experience

• Grade 12 or equivalent academic level.

• Strong knowledge of:

• Motor vehicle electrical systems.

• Motor vehicle mechanical systems and components.

IT Skills

• Proficiency with computer usage, including keyboard and mouse.

• Experience with IT applications (e.g., Audatex).

• Intermediate skills in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
