About the role

As a tax compliance specialist, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and accurate submission of tax compliance obligations for various entities within the Badger Group. This role offers an excellent opportunity to expand your expertise in both local and international tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage SARS eFiling profiles for multiple entities within the group.
• Oversee the submission of corporate tax returns, coordinating with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
• Prepare, calculate, and submit provisional tax returns
• Handle correspondence and meetings with SARS as required.
• Liaise with foreign tax compliance officers to broaden knowledge and gain practical experience in international tax matters.

What we’re looking for

• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Commitment to professionalism, accuracy, and continuous learning – particularly in tax compliance for foreign jurisdictions.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with exceptional attention to detail.
• Five-plus years of experience in a tax compliance role
