Architectural Technician

• A suitable tertiary qualification in Architectural Technology, preferably a BTech from CPUT, NMU, or TUT.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of regulations, building codes, and construction standards.
• Preferably based in the Southern Cape.
• A younger candidate is preferred.

• Assist in preparing approval and technical documentation for projects.
• Facilitate information flow to building sites, ensuring all relevant parties receive accurate and timely updates.
• Work alongside senior professionals to develop detailed drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers, and municipal authorities to ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Participate in site visits to monitor project progress and address technical queries.
• Support the team in producing accurate as-built documentation and revisions when needed.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other architectural software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Good communication skills to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects efficiently.
