An international company, currently experiencing significant growth through a major recruitment drive, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Technical Lead. This exciting opportunity is based in Durban and offers a hybrid work model, combining the best of both in-office and remote work environments.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a dynamic DevOps team to ensure optimal performance and professional growth.
• Architect, implement, and maintain scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters.
• Manage and optimize Docker environments for various applications.
• Develop, implement, and enforce CI/CD best practices to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery pipelines.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to automate processes and enhance system reliability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Minimum of six years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on Kubernetes and Docker.
• Proven expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of best practices in software development and system administration.
• Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
