Client service/business management
- Assist and coordinate elements of each client campaign, managing of all team and client documentation, providing hands-on support, effective communication with the client and maintaining a positive spirit for the team
- Develop a relationship with Creative Services, Strat, Creative and Finance
- Understand the value of digital, strategic planning, production,traffic and other agency services
- Drive Aprais / Yardstick or other action plans and continuously drive an awareness of how all actions have an impact on the Aprais score.
- Assist with new business activities where required
- Ensure that client and team documentation is produced on time and at required quality levels.
- Coordinate and distribute all administrative documentation, e.g. status reporting and clear project documentation on costs, copy and artwork.
- Proactively provide support for your team and ensure that any requirements are pre-empted or acted upon quickly to service the needs of the client or the team.
- Develop understanding of and participation in, drafting of creative briefs, schedules briefs and other relevant information and assume responsibility for sharing and distribution of these documents within the team.
- Ensure that relevant case studies are acquired and kept for both team, new business presentations, web-site information.
- Ensure clear understanding of the Client's operational requirements and to deliver to agreed plans.
- Keep all client information current and up to date, personal information i.e. birthdays and business information.
- Assist in driving integration between various agencies working on the Client's account
- Assist in all relevant support activities - Boardroom bookings; relevant catering; equipment requirements; agenda; status reports; filing; scheduling of meetings
- Assist to ensure delivery of exceptional Creative solutions.
- Ensure that any relevant intelligence is shared with team members for learning across the agency
- Work with all teams and departments to assist in ensuring that all briefs are on Strat and budget and on deadline
- Assist with collaboration across all departments of all projects including new business
- Manage the invoicing of clients so that regular and accurate financial information is available, invoice queries answered and income is paid on time
- Track the budget spending and highlight any over-budget items or items that need to be invoiced to remain on target
- Ensure invoice queries are answered timeoulsy and liaise with Finance to ensure that income is paid on time
- Ensure that all Client and team documentation is ready on time and is of the quality required
- Ensure that the production and media approvals are managed efficiently
- Develop an understanding of the profitability on Client business and provide responsible feedback to the account team regarding financial status
- Understand and track Client and project profitability
- Develop skills and knowledge within yourself through on-the-job development and active participation in the agency
- Provide feedback regarding improvements that could be made to processes
- Create clear development plans for yourself and set out to achieve you goals
- To receive coaching and mentorship in order to develop skills required to be an effective mentor and coach in the future
- Adhere to company performance and behavior expectations, e.g. timekeeping, timeous completion of timesheets, Company Policies and Procedures, etc.
- Three years plus as an account manager with a leading advertising/creative agency.
