We are seeking a skilled Agile project manager with a strong background in IT infrastructure to lead infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalising projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Agile Project Manager will also define the project’s objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
The IT team enables the business with flexible, scalable, fit-for-purpose, and secure IT solutions, covering all areas from Digital Workplace, Identity and Access Management, Connectivity, Cloud platform engineering, and highly secure, high-performance, and reliable data center services.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT Operations and Infrastructure projects, focusing on cloud services, network architecture, IAM, server management, and Digital Workplace technologies using agile methodologies.
• Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating scrum ceremonies, ensuring agile practices are followed, and fostering a team environment of continuous improvement.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, ensuring technical feasibility and resource availability.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders promptly and clearly.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals, setting and continually managing project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools; track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, encouraging a work environment where innovation and collaboration are celebrated.

To Note:

• This is a remote role, the client is based in Germany.
• Hours per month: 80 -160 hours.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing IT projects using agile methodologies, such as Kanban or Scrum.
• Strong familiarity with project management software tools, such Atlassian Jira & Confluence.
• Excellent knowledge of agile methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience in the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including knowledge in areas such as IAM, networking, cloud services, and server management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and manage project stakeholders at all levels.

Certifications, not required but helpful:

• Certified Scrum Master
• Certified Product Owner
• PMI-ACP
• PRINCE2 Agile certification
• ITIL 4 Foundation
