Tshwane South College Head of Governance and Communication; 01 June 2009 until to date • Manage and account for a successful media relations/external communications programme, in line with Public Diplomacy's corporate communications strategy
• Coordinate the media liaison/external communication strategies to ensure a synergistic communication approach
• Devise and coordinate media liaison/external communications strategies in ways that reflect innovation and implement special requirements, where relevant
• Coordinate media-related projects
• Ensure articles/press releases are distributed on time, at the appropriate quality and within budget
• Manage media liaison/external communications staff in the sub-directorate

• Liaise with clients and confirming their attendance at events.
• Assist in the registration of guests at the venue.

• Ensure that all the City of Tshwane divisions have adequate marketing material relating to 2010 World Cup.
• Make travel and accommodation arrangement for Executive Mayor's Office responsible for 2010 Unit
• Provide general administrative support to the Senior Branding and Advertising Specialist
