Having been involved in a number of start-ups like Heinz Foods SA, Gourmet Fresh and established stand-alone companies like Freshmark and Lusitania, he was also a managing director at Compass SA for three years. In 2018 he bought into BiobiN SA and has become active in the drive to divert organic waste from landfills.
