Joburg City Theatres makes three new appointments

Joburg City Theatres has made the following new appointments:

• Nomsa Mazwai joins as general manager for Soweto Theatre. Some of Mazwai's experience includes being head of communications for the National Stokvel Association of South Africa and founding director for Emthonjeni Arts. Mazwai will be responsible for supervision of the day-to-day activities at the Soweto Theatre including the general maintenance of the theatre building, its stage machinery and assets, and setting and maintaining world class operating standards in both customer and client services.

• Salvataris "Khushu" Koloti joins the team as marketing executive for Joburg City Theatres. As marketing executive, her duties will include strategy development, reputation management and overseeing marketing departments within the entity. Prior to joining Joburg City Theatres, Khushu served as divisional head: account management for Zinto Activations and stakeholder relationship manager for South African National Space Agency.

• Vincent Motau has been promoted to strategic support manager. Motau joined the organisation in August 2013 as office administrator. Subsequent to that he was appointed acting company secretary from 1 August 2014.
