At a time when the arts are critically underfunded globally, particularly in developing countries, Finding the Light – An Evening of Musical Theatre Super Stars! was born and will make its debut at the Artscape Opera House from 17 – 21 April 2024 in support of the Kolisi Foundation - founded by Rachel and Siya Kolisi with a mission to empower young people and positively impact local communities.
The Cape Town Carnival, the annual street parade which normally occurs in March, held it's first large online event, it's Celebration Ceremony, which attracted over 60 people including national, provincial and local government officials, media, corporate representatives, and some of the participants.

Now in its second year, this year's installment saw 36 up-and-coming comics each get five minutes on stage at the Soweto Theatre before being buzzed off by the event's outstanding MC, Kagiso Lediga....
