Mimecast acquires Ataata to tackle lack of cybersecurity training
Email and data security company Mimecast has acquired Ataata to attend to the lack of cybersecurity training in South Africa.
The acquisition allows organisations to measure cyber risk training effectiveness by converting behaviour observations into actionable risk metrics for security professionals.
Recent research by Mimecast and Vanson Bourne found that only 11% of South African organisations continuously train its staff on how to spot cyberattacks.
