Knit towards 67 Blankets

Den Anker Belgian restaurant at the V&A Waterfront is supporting the 67 Blankets for Nelson Mandela Day by enticing knitters with a complimentary Liefmans lower-carb Belgian beer and tapas.

The group knit, between 12 noon and 5pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 8 to 10, also forms part of the V&A Waterfront's Wool Week. Den Anker is providing the wool and refreshments and asks you to bring your needles and accoutrements towards making the 21,000 blankets that will go to the Union Buildings on 21 April.
