Shoprite announces 2021 Boerewors Championship winner

Shoprite and Checkers have announced this year's Championship Boerewors winner, 38-year-old Vikash Bachu from Ladysmith. Bachu entered the contest no fewer than 12 times before being announced as the winner of the 2021 championship. His winning recipe will be available at Shoprite and Checkers stores nationwide starting Friday, 10 September 2021.

Second and third place went to Yolande Coleske from Kariega, Eastern Cape and Chris Roodt from Cradock, Eastern Cape respectively. In addition to the coveted title of 2021 Championship Boerewors winner, Bachu also drives away with the grand prize, a brand new Toyota Fortuner 2.4 GD -6 4X2 6AT.
