Ericsson appoints new Sub-Saharan Africa head

Ericsson has announced the appointment of Jean-Claude Geha as the head of the sub-Saharan Region, effective from July 1, 2016. Fredrik Jejdling, who is being replaced by Jean-Claude Geha, has been appointed as head of a new business unit, Network Services, and as a member of Ericsson's executive leadership team.

Digitalisation is impacting all industries, transforming established operating and business models creating new opportunities at an increasing pace. Sub-Saharan Africa is also having similar transformational developments and Geha will bring his wide-ranging experience to further develop Ericsson’s offering and support to the region.

Under his leadership, Ericsson will continue to being fully committed to continue partnering with its customers through this massive transformation as their business partner of choice.
Geha has been active in the ICT space for over 25 years. Currently as global head of Managed Services, he has been instrumental in extending Ericsson’s managed services leadership globally, including here in Africa.
