Entries now open for the Absa Top 10 Pinotage competition
The 24th edition of the Absa Top 10 Pinotage Competition is now open for entry. The awards are considered one of the most prestigious annual South African wine accolades. "We are thrilled that it is 'business as usual' for this year's competition and that entries are now open," says Beyers Truter, founder and chairman of the Pinotage Association

The competition celebrates the Pinotage grape varietal as one of South Africa’s signature wines. With the ongoing support of key sponsor, Absa, the competition has seen an immensely positive impact of this unique wine category, but also everyone associated with it.
Entries are also open for the Pinotage Icon category (Museum class), for Pinotage wines 10 years and older.
Truter is sure that the older Pinotage category is set to become one of the most exciting wine categories and welcomes the entries that will be received this year.
The judging and awards ceremony dates will be announced at a later stage.
