Engen and Supersport United roll out community-based football programmes
In keeping with their commitment to the community that they serve, Engen and Supersport United FC kick off at 10h00 on Saturday, 1 November with a Supersport United Football Experience Coaching Clinic for a select number of local teams.
The Supersport United head coach, Gordon Igesund and technical team members Alex Heredia and Serame Letsoaka will be in attendance. Also present will be a select group of Supersport United player's; captain Clayton Daniels, Thabo September, Lerato Manzine, Andile Fikizolo and Roscoe Pietersen.
Engen's fundraising programme, its Goals for Charity initiative steps up a gear, increasing in value from R2,000 to R4,000 per goal scored by Supersport United at home PSL games during the month of November.
Matsatsantsa are scheduled to play home games against Orlando Pirates FC on 23 November and Amazulu FC 26 November and with coach Gordon Igesund's results driven mentality, United are sure to be firing on all cylinders, with 10 goals in their last four league games.
Plans for the month of November include visits to children's homes, coaching clinics and player appearances within identified communities.
