Wireless, intelligent, sensing technology (WIST) to be launched in SA

From solving the problem of rhino poaching to improving effective asset utilisation in a manufacturing environment, an advanced wireless intelligent sensing technology developed in South Africa is set to launch.

"Knowledge is power and the customised applications which WIST is capable of delivering will bring a step change to the world of intelligence and control," says Gert Botha, CEO of WIST South Africa. Short for wireless, intelligent, sensing technology, WIST gathers data, information and intelligence, allowing for tracking, protection, security and streamlining of both a business, as well as a residential environment, changing every part of the working world.

WIST has a Johannesburg-based team on hand to work with clients to create customised solutions to address particular requirements, as well as a London-based office in order to meet demand in the UK, Europe and further afield. The official launch of WIST will take place at The Forum on the Didata Campus in Bryanston, Johannesburg on 16 March.
