Home of Hope receives winter hampers from ARA
Last week the Industry Association for Responsible Alcohol Use (ARA) donated some winter hampers to the Home of Hope, which is an organisation that schools children with Foetal Alcohol Syndrome Disorder (FASD).
The hampers included fleece blankets, scarves, beanies, windbreakers and backpacks filled with treats as well as duvets, duvet covers and pillows. There were also hampers for each child comprising pyjamas, a gown and slippers for the girls, and for the boys, pyjamas and tracksuits.
"We are happy to assist organisation such as the Home of Hope assists people, especially children, who have been negatively impacted by the harmful effects of alcohol abuse. This donation is just a small way of showing contributing to the already excellent work that is being done," says ARA director, Adrian Botha.
