Waiting for traffic to pass with Inner City Sounds

The Westin Hotel Cape Town has provided Capetonians an escape from traffic gridlock through the launch of Inner City Sounds at Louis B's Bar and Outside Terrace.

Here, commuters working in the CBD can unwind on Friday afternoons with friends or colleagues. They can listen to the laid back tunes of local musicians Alvin Dyers, Sammy Hartman, Jeremy Olivier, and Amy Campbell who each create their own style of musical magic on the sax, piano, and bass.

A selection of tapas is available and can be washed down with an ice-cold craft beer sourced from local breweries, or you can take your pick from the summer-inspired cocktail menu made up of ingredients that give the tried and tested options an interesting twist.

Inner City Sounds start from 4.30pm until 7.30pm every Friday throughout Summer and offer free parking. If the positive vibes are still flowing when the music ends, Louis B’s cocktail lounge and terrace at The Westin invite guests to stay on into the evening.
