Man appears in Limpopo court for possession of elephant tusks
Baldwin Netshidzivhe (45) appeared in court on a charge of possession of ivory worth R25,400. His case was postponed to 21 February when he will apply for bail.
"The ivory, which differs in size and thought to have been removed from two different elephants, are valued at R25,400. Police investigations are underway to establish the origin of the recovered ivory and possibly find the carcases of the slain elephants," said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.
