Cape Town could be within weeks of gaining approval from Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone to hold a Grand Prix on a new street circuit that is being planned for the city.
If successful, Cape Town could expect to host the first race by 2013. According to CapeTalk567, Ecclestone says that "as soon as we get a contract in place, which we're working on now, then it will go quite quickly from there I hope." Read more...
