Line-up for Cape Town jazz festival
According to a Sowetan report, music sensation Zamajobe, has been included in the line-up for the Cape Town International Jazz Festival. She will share the stage with legends including Marcus Miller, Patti Austin and Jamaican reggae band Third World. The line-up includes local musicians Zahara, bassist Herbie Tsoaeli and recording artist Lindiwe Suttle. Kamikaze art, Afro-house, Unathi Msengana and Zakes Bantwini will also perform at the festival.
Sowetan reports that the rest of the line-up includes: James Ingram, David Koz, Mike Stern and Dave Wecki, Virtual Jazz Reality, Brubecks, Ron Carter, Donald Harrison, Lenny White, the Andre Petersen Quintet, Atmosphere, Jean Grae, Goodluck, The Jason Reolon Trio, David Sanches and guest Lionel Loueke, the Moreira Project and the Alexander Sinto High School Jazz Band.
