Twelve of the continent's freshest entertainers are set to raise the bar this year when the Bassline Fest returns to celebrate Africa Day on 25 May 2019 at Johannesburg's Constitution Hill.
Nigeria’s Asá [asha] and Mr Eazi will headline this musical extravaganza, with early bird tickets going on sale as of 5 March and are available via bassline.co.za priced at only R250. Thereafter, general access R350, Golden Circle R450 and children under 12 years old R150.

The Africa Day celebrations are an exhilarating musical experience aimed to showcase African music, culture and diversity. Under a 25-year celebratory theme, the Bassline Fest will not only celebrate Africa Day, but also a milestone 25 years of democracy in South Africa, as well as the celebration of Bassline's silver jubilee.
Bassline Fest forms part of the Johannesburg leg of the IGODA Festival Circuit. Festivals represented by the IGODA circuit include Azgo Festival – Mozambique, MTN Bushfire – Swaziland, Zakifo Festival – Durban, South Africa, and Sakifo Festival – Reunion Island.
The circuit presents an ease of opportunity for artists to travel the continent. International artists will often share the circuit and can be seen at several of the festivals over the same space of time, allowing fans from across the continent that exposure.
