Catch these 4 musicians at the V&A Summer Sessions in November
Vuvu Khumalo will enthral audiences with her deep soulful voice and captivate them with her diva stage presence. Catch Khumalo live on stage on Friday, 16 November at 7pm. Known as the ‘Old School Disco Diva’, she has performed at Jazz on the Rocks and Love Jazz Cruise hosted by Clarence Ford and has performed as the closing act for the iconic international duo Peaches & Herb.
Fans of acoustic and electronic sounds with ample EDM effects will not want to miss out on the multi-talented instrumentalist Glenn Hartman performing at 7pm on Saturday, 17 November 2018. Hartman’s passion for music and enchanting melodies have won him Crowd Favourite at the Paco Rabanne Be a Rockstar competition and his track Ready To Fight This made its radio debut on 5FM last year.
Joining him is the local urban music band Kamisa who will be showcasing a blend of genres from soulful to R&B, reggae, jazz, and hip-hop. Kamisa is made up of the two founding members Mr Linx and Jay-P and is backed by a four-piece band. With their raging success and huge fan base, Kamisa started to perform at music festivals alongside top South African performers such as Jimmy Nevis, Chad Saaiman, and Claire Phillips to name a few.
Bam Bam Brown will be hitting the stage with a bang this year on 24 November 2018 at 7pm. Known for his nu-indie folk-style music, Bam Bam Brown has a unique way of getting everyone hyped up on every song and beat.
