Kongos in SA tour

Local support acts will be on the line-up in both Durban and Cape Town.

Kongos is a South Africa-born American alternative rock band consisting of four brothers: Johnny (accordion, keyboards, vocals), Jesse (drums, percussion, vocals), Daniel (guitar, vocals),and Dylan Kongos (bass guitar, lap slide guitar, vocals). They spent their childhoods in London and South Africa. They compose and record in Phoenix, Arizona, where they have lived since 1996.

Kongos' new album, 'Egomaniac', is set to be released on 10 June via Just Music. Take It From Me, the first single from 'Egomaniac' has already hit the US charts. The band will be performing several songs from the new album as well as select cuts from their previous release.

The band’s album 'Lunatic' (2012) was chock full of hits, including I’m Only Joking and Come With Me Now, which reached double Platinum status in both the US and Canada.

A limited number of tickets will be made available for each evening’s performance.
