Mango saluted as it lands at Lanseria for the first time
Tuesday morning 31 May saw Mango land at Lanseria for the first time as it positioned its aircraft for takeoff this morning. The airline's first commercial flight departs from Lanseria to Cape Town this morning, 1 June.
Pictured is the traditional aviation welcome for an airline's first landing at a new airport - they get a salute from the airport's fire brigade... just as seen here when the Lanseria airport fire tenders welcomed Mango as it landed at Lanseria for the first time yesterday.
Mango's modern fleet comprises new generation, eco friendly Boeing B737-800 aircraft, seating 186 passengers, on all routes.
