For the first time, the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate 2014 will feature 12 races as opposed to 10, with a new prominent internationally sponsored race, brought to the day's line-up by England's Goodwood Racecourse. With a winner's purse of R1 million, the L'Ormarins Queen's Plate has the best 16 thoroughbreds in the country run 1600m over the Kenilworth Racecourse.
Alongside the track, there will be an array of race-day fashions in the event's signature blue-and-white dress theme with world-class entertainment and a variety of hospitality and culinary offerings.

Two picnic packages exist, namely the R750-per head Luxury Picninc Suite, including a prime, private location, complimentary L'Ormarins wines, organic energy drinks and Peroni, with access to the after party and Style Lounge Village. The R600-per head Picnic Site ticket includes a prime location, complimentary drinks and entrance to the Style Lounge Village and after party.
The Style Lounge ticket option, valued at R250, grants access into the Style Lounge Village, access to the horse race and after party, as well as tote facilities and parking.
