The match will be played at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo. Kick off is at 16h00. Meanwhile all the players have reported for national duty including the overseas-based contingent - captain Aaron Mokoena, Rowen Fernandez, MacBeth Sibaya, Kagisho Dikgacoi, Bernard Parker, Elrio van Heerden and Bevan Fransman.

Defender Tsepo Masilela travelled with the squad from Johannesburg. Before the team left on Tuesday evening, (06 October) the players were addressed by the newly-elected President of the South African Football Association (SAFA) Kirsten Nematandani after adjourning the National Executive Committee meeting.

“We believe in you, we have hope that you will do this country proud. Yes, we are going through a tough time as a team and as a country, but we can overcome this. Go out there and fight for your country, all the best,” said Nematandani.
After the match against Norway, South Africa will travel to Iceland to play another friendly international match on Tuesday (13 October) in Reykjavik.
