Mojo Obz quickly snapped up
Comments Schoof: "This transaction was concluded in a very short time frame - arguably one of the quickest transactions in the restaurant trade. Having been contacted by the seller on a Wednesday and arranged a viewing on the Friday, a firm offer for the full asking price was presented just three days later, on the Saturday. The transaction combined a purchase of the business and lease negotiations for the premises and all negotiations were fully finalised and concluded within two weeks.
"The new owners had clearly set out their requirements for proposed investments and when the Mojo opportunity came up they were quick to decide that this represented the ideal investment. 'Obz' as it's fondly known by locals, is a centrally located, up and coming area which is home to a thriving café society and Mojo is ideally suited to this location," adds Schoof.
Wright and Trent opened the doors of Mojo - in a double-storey building in Station Road - on the 1 August, 2008. It comprises a locals' bar on the ground floor, a spacious indoor restaurant and bar area with fireplace on the first floor, and a spectactular outside deck overlooking the rooftops of Observatory.
