Shortmarket Club launches all year round Prix Fixe Lunch Menu

Luke Dale-Roberts's Shortmarket Club in Cape Town has introduced a new all year round Prix Fixe lunch menu. The Prix Fixe lunch menu consists of three courses, which will change on a regular basis.

Chef Wes Randles and manager Simon Widdison are the heart and soul behind the restaurant, and the combination of gourmet comfort food in the most stylish of settings with an on-point front-of-house, has made The Shortmarket Club one of the top dining destinations in Cape Town’s inner city, whether for a sophisticated business lunch or a languid dinner.

Randles continues his modern interpretations of classics created from ingredients with impeccable provenance and Widdison is keenly excited to introduce the regular Prix Fixe lunch menu year round. “This three-course menu is ideal for a quick lunch that delivers on flavour, and it’s ideal for local business people to enjoy,” he explains.

The Shortmarket Club has an old-world aesthetic with wood and leather elements enhancing the club atmosphere. Dark colours set the mood while the open kitchen is a dramatic focal point. In addition, modern works by local visual artists and vintage décor touches combine to make it one of the most sumptuous spaces in the Mother City.

The three-course Prix Fixe Lunch Menu at The Shortmarket Club is priced at R320 per person. It is available at lunchtime only, Monday to Saturday.
