Axe launches Axecess Jozi

Now called Axecess Jozi, the mega-festival will feature international urban megastar Big Sean taking to the stage alongside South Africa's best talent.

Still to be held on 1 February, 2014, the festival will be expanded into a day/night festival and moved to Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Joburg, which will better accommodate the bolstered line-up and, importantly, open up Axecess Jozi to even more fans.

Chart-topping and award-winning artist, AKA, who is also hosting this year's Channel O Awards, featuring Da Les, Pro, Ma E and Maggz will be on the bill bringing you the best of local hip hop. The star-studded line-up will also feature Khuli Chana along with the mighty Teargas. DreamTeam will get the crowd amped up for a day of the best music while Reason, the hip hop prodigy of South Africa, will wow the audience with his insane skills behind the microphone. All these formidable acts will get everyone up on their feet as they prepare to party hard to Big Sean.
