FutureLearn welcomes Aunyana Moloisane as new CBDO
As CBDO Aunyana will focus on developing and continuously improving the group’s business development strategy. He has extensive experience in strategy development and has worked on sales, marketing and business development strategies. Aunyana started his studies with a BCom degree in marketing and communication at the University of Pretoria, followed by a BCom honours degree in business management and a master’s degree in business leadership from Unisa. He has worked in a variety of industries ranging from ICT, food and beverages, petrochemical, packaging, construction, and now education.
Before joining FutureLearn, Aunyana worked for Deloitte where he successfully delivered on several strategy facilitation and development engagements. He has also done extensive work on business process re-engineering and advising on operating models.
“I feel privileged to be part of such a forward-thinking team,” says Aunyana. He adds that he joined FutureLearn because he shares the company’s passion for education and innovation. “I’m excited to join FutureLearn at such an exciting time,” says Aunyana. He believes that the education landscape is changing and that innovative and accessible solutions, like those provided by FutureLearn, are needed to contribute to education in South Africa. Aunyana lives by this quote from Norman Vincent Peale: “Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that”. “I believe that by filling young minds with knowledge we can uplift the youth and make a discernible difference in our country,” he concluded.
