Food & Trees for Africa is challenging all schools, communities, companies, government and individuals to plant and look after as many trees as possible in the month of September.
TREEthusiasts can register or log in with Facebook credentials on http://trees.co.za. There you can interact with the rest of the communiTREE, pledge or donate trees, or post information and video or pictures of your tree planting events and map them.
The winning couple will be flown to Cape Town on kulula and accommodated by City Lodge.
The Trees for Africa Arbor Challenge aims to energise a new excitement and understanding of the value of trees in our lives, their role in balancing the climate, providing food and other crucial resources, enhancing vital biodiversity and much, much more.
