Australian doctors achieve medical milestone
In what is a medical first, Australian doctors have removed a parasitic roundworm from a woman's brain.

The woman started suffering memory lapses, and when doctors conducted an MRI scan they uncovered the 8cm worm.
The parasitic worm is said to be naturally found in kangaroos. Doctors reckon the woman was infected after foraging.
This case may be the first of its kind in modern medical history.
