Zain launches new consumer product

LAGOS: Zain Nigeria has launched a new product that allows customers on its network to choose their tariff plans. The product, called Zain Joli, allows pre-paid customers to determine their spending patterns by choosing specific packages.
Zain launches new consumer product

Zain Joli, the new default pre-paid tariff plan offers customers a selection of four options: Joli People, Joli Padi, Joli Yans and Joli Yonda.

“Zain Joli is revolutionary in that, for the first time in Nigeria, the power to choose is placed in the hands of our customers. No longer can other operators tell you what offer works best for you. If there is an offer, or a combination of offers that suit your needs, then you can subscribe to Zain Joli and tailor your package to ensure your needs are met,” said Khaled Khorshid, chief operating officer of Zain Nigeria.

The Joli People plan, the first of the four options offers pre-paid customers lower rate per seconds on Zain to Zain (On Net) calls anytime in the day and at any day in the week. This plan allows customers to make calls at 40 Kobo per second for calls to Zain numbers (On Net calls), irrespective of the time of day.

The Joli Padi allows customers to make calls at low rates to 10 family and friends numbers any time of the day and every day in the week while the Joli Yans allows customers to make off-peak calls every day. For 25 Kobo, customers on the Joli Padi may connect to ten numbers on their friends and family members' list any time of the day.

Joli Yans allows customers to determine their off-peak hours during the night hours. Customers on this package can call friends and family for 25 Kobo per second.

Joli Yonda allows customers that make frequent international calls to make calls at low rates to specified international destinations. International calls are as low as 25 Kobo per second.
