Our client is seeking an organised and detail-oriented commercial underwriter to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.

Job description

• Providing accurate and detailed underwriting of commercial insurance applications.
• Assessing risk factors and determining appropriate coverage and pricing.
• Offering expert advice to clients to help them understand their insurance needs.
• Ensuring customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving problems.

Minimum requirements

• Grade 12 Matric Certificate
• Proven experience as a commercial underwriter in the insurance industry
• Proficiency with specialised industry quoting systems
• Excellent communication and administrative skills
• RES qualification

Preferred qualifications

• REI qualification
• Class of Business qualifications (personal and commercial lines)
