I am passionate about magazine design.
I have worked for 9 years in print production environments, as a creative, mostly for magazines, which gives me a practical understand of the editorial processes, as well as working with creative teams.
I have experience in magazine art direction, as well as recruitment and management.
I have been involved of the process of desinging "Business Day Investors Monthly" from scratch.
I am currently involved in the redesign of Financial Mail's "Little Black Book"
Being a graphic designer, I am highly skilled in computer programmes such as Adobe CS (Phototshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Flash, Dreamweaver), Corel Draw, MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Outlook). My skills in design, DTP and repro are highly advanced.
I practical knowledge of producing print-ready PDF's, uploading them and approving them on the web for printers.
Through corporate marketing, I gained experience in branding, CI protection and creating advertising, marketing and promotional material (print and digital).
I am used to working to tight deadlines and meeting them.
I am very detail orientated.
I have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Because I am constantly working under deadlines, I have good time management skills.
I am best driven to excel in an environment driven by creativity, design and entrepreneurship.
